Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai: Sanjay speaks about them

Guzaarish director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has spoken up about Salman Khan with whom he is known to be good friends. It was being reported that Salman is a tad miffed with Sanjay for using his idea to make Guzaarish (that stars Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai).

Sanjay has laughed off the reports and maintains that Salman is a good friend. On being questioned if he would ever work with him again, he chuckles and replies in the affirmative, “I will surely work with him again.”

Previously, Sanjay has worked with Salman in films like ‘Khamoshi’ and ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and had roped him for a cameo in ‘Saawariyaa’.

But Aishwarya Rai has been his favourite actress with whom he has worked in 3 of his magnum opuses- ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Devdas’ and the upcoming ‘Guzaarish’. Speaking on Ash, Sanjay cites that she is intellectually sharp and a thoughtful actress who can understand him the best. Besides, she enjoys working with him and Sanjay feels blessed to have her in his films.

From Khamoshi to Devdas to Guzaarish, Sanjay’s films have been a riot of colours with a poignant, heart-tugging tale and powerful, emotive characters. No wonder, he is counted amongst the best of the best.
